Transfer 5 Week 7

Hellow!

So normally transfers are 6 weeks but because of circumstances this was 7 weeks. It has been an amazing transfer. My companion was amazing and the area was just fantastic! I am staying in my area and I am training a new missionary. I am so excited for her to come to such an amazing ward! She will love it! I am also hanging out with the sisters in Bandon today because I am companion-less. So I don't have a ton of time to write because today has been crazy! But I want to tell you all highlights!!!!

One thing we learned this week that our bikes break. But! More importantly we learned that the Lords hand is in the details! Each time our bikes broke, someone was led to us that we needed to talk to. The first time this happened we came out of a house that we tracted into and my tire was flat. As we were walking the mile or so back into town a man drove by us. Then he turned around and came back and talked to us. He was an inactive man who hasn't been to church since he moved to Oregon which was 20-30 years ago. He gave us his information and invited us over because he recognized us as missionaries. Then, the next day as I was fixing my flat tire (yep, I fixed it! Thanks dad for teaching me skills.) we were able to meet the son of a woman that we have been teaching and he is now on a friendly basis with us whereas before he wasn't so much. Then a day or so after that Sis. Aldous' chain came off. We were on the side of the road when a man who was out jogging came by and said we could come to his house and use his tools. Because he was helping us we were able to have an amazing conversation with him that we would not have had otherwise. His sister is a member and he had a few concerns and misconceptions that we were able to talk over. It is crazy to see how the Lord is so involved in every aspect of the work.

Another highlight and lesson was to not judge. A woman that I at first labeled as uninterested and not all there has turned into one of our most sincere investigators. She is truly amazing. I repented for that one.

The church is true and the field is ready to harvest!

I love you all!
Sis. Adair
