Transfer 8 Week 2

Family,

Time has gone by super fast. I can't beleive it is already the middle of November. We are going to be spending Thanksgiving with an awesome family! The Wife speaks Portuegese which is great for my companion. Oh and yeah, I am in a Trio. (Not sure where we will be for Christmas, there is a transfer in between now and then so I might get moved again.) So the begining of this week, Monday and Tuesday I was with the Eugene YSA sisters. I love them. Mom, you will apprciate that one of them, Sis. Hancock, was folding my socks so that they matched. Don't worry, I showed her the correct way to match my socks. Also when I was with the YSA sisters there was a recent convert who was having us over for dinner and we were ready for desert and I picked up the box of cookies with one hand to bring it to the table and the bottom fell out and cookies went all over the floor. Red velvet floor cookies are so good, well, according to Sis. Hancock. So on Tuesday night I found out where I would be the rest of the Transfer. I am in Central Point first ward! And if you know your Oregon wards you would know that the Medford Temple (which is actually in Central Point) is in my ward boundries. Lucky, right? I think so. Also on Tuesday we had zone conference and Elder Foster of the 70 was touring the mission. It was so great. So Wednesday afternoon I met my new companions. Sis. Conley is a visa waiter who is going to Brazil and Sis. Slater is a brand new new missionary and I am training her. We are all so differant but we are super awesome together! Also Sis. Slater and I could be twins. We have the same hair color and style and she loves switch blades and wants a motorcycle and has super tiny hands. Sis. Conley is very focused, witty and time oriented. We are awesome. It took a little to adjust but we are doing fantastically well. The view from our apartment is epic. We are up on a little hill and can overlook the whole valley and watch the sunrise when we run in the morning. Also our bedroom takes on the appearance of a cabin and feels like it when we wake up in the morning. I am learning the art of sleeping with my head covered.

I love you all!
