Transfer 9 Week 2

Ok. Happy New Year All of you all!!!!! We made a vision and goals for our year in Companionship study and I really, really did not like thinking about the second 6 months. It's not that I'm not excited to come home but its that I'm not excited not to be a missionary. It's the best job in the world for me right now with the best perks ever. For example, there is this man that we have been teaching, named Skeeter. Love him. He is in his 60's and is in super bad health. He has been taught by the sisters for awhile and He came to church last week for the very first time. Also we believe that it was because after his daughter blew up at him and his roommate moved out after stealing stuff, and his care taker quit we went over and cleaned his apartment for him. He softened. After he came to church he had such a change about him. We were all super elated about seeing that in him. He also gave me a nick name. He gives all of the sisters nick names. Slaters is Little Bit because she is so tiny. Taualii's is Island because he can say that and cant pronounce her last name. And it took him a good 2 months of me being here for him to finally come up with one for me. On Monday he told me my nick name was Trouble. Because whenever I talk he gets in trouble. :D I liked it a lot. We also spoke in Sacrament meeting and he paid attention so dilligently. It was beautiful! When we talked to him about it afterward he was making fun of me because I told a story about rock climbing and also because I talked for the longest. (p.s the perk I am refering to is watching the atonement change people.) So when we were preparing to speak, Sis. Slater said "Ok, here is how its gonna go. I'll speak 5 minutes, Taualii will speak 7 and Adair will speak 25. Ok good." I totally thought they were kidding. They both talked about 7 minutes which was good so I only had to do 20. But still. I was going to send my talk also but It wont let me get onto blogger on this computer so I will send it next week and also post it on my new mission blog this week which you can get to through facebook. I will also be posting my companions talks in the future because they did amazingly. So here are some funnies. So sometimes in the morning we drive to the church to exercise and because there are sweaty men in the gym in the morning playing basketball we go into the nursery room and (drumroll please....) make obstacle courses!!! Ok now before you say, "That's not exercise." let me tell you this. It so totally is. We make some intense obstacles and we are timed. So we made one and this Sister we were on exchanges with went to leap over a table (yes that's right, we leap.) and her toe barely clipped the edge of it and down she went but she like a ninja rolled out of it. It was beautiful! Then the other day, Slater was going through and she going over a chair and she stepped on it and it was really funny because the chair went flying one way and she went flying the other and launched her self into a cupboard and landed on the floor. *Disclaimer* Slater is alright. Taualii and I blitzed over to her and she was laughing so hard! So now about what we did for Christmas. On Christmas we met all the sisters in our Zone at the Church and then we hiked up Table Rock mountain. It was a blast. We had a little devotional of sorts up at the top and sang some hymns. After wards we showered. It was necessary. Then we invited another set of sisters to come play games with us at a members house. They had only been in the area for a week so they didn't have a lot of places to go. I totally won at playing Curses. And we still felt the spirit. It was beautiful. Then we went and talked to our families! It was simply amazing. And then we Went to dinner and then we chilled out. And it was great! I love you much. Tyrell told me that I needed to be more personal so I hope this was a better letter. Also there are other sisters waiting to get on so I need to get off quickly.
