Transfer 9 Week 4

Hello! I am here to tell you of a miracle!!!! Are you ready? It truly is amazing! Once you read about it you might not believe it. But I know that the following are true events as I have seen them. I give you my witness that Miracles happen every day and that we worship a God of miracles! Miracle 1: So last week there were some werewolf's that came out to play and this week was recovering from them. I have the best companions ever. They are so great in helping me to become better and in reaching my potential. I love them so much. Taualii and I are pretty much a like. It's really odd how similar some of our traits are. I have had companions where we have a lot of things in common but never so many as with Taualii. She loves softball, she loves sports so much. She also loves shoes, handbags and going to spas. She is so thoughtful and constantly concerned for other people. She and I saw the same things all the time....like, uncommon things to say. For example. We were on exchanges... It was T, and I and a Sis. Crosgrove. While T was in the restroom I told Crosgrove that if I never got married here, when I get up to heaven me and Abinadai would tie the knot if he was okay with it. When we were in the car, ten minutes later, T said if I die and I'm not married I think Captain Moroni and I will tie the knot. Yeah. I was cracking up. Crosgrove thought it was oddly hilarious. But things like that happen all the time with T and I. Sis. Slater carries such an amazingly humble spirit. She is a pure vessel and beacon of light. She teaches me daily of the Saviors love because she carries it with her constantly. She is also hilarious and so prepared for such a young missionary. We all get along famously. I am telling you all this because my companions have been a miracle in my life and i love them dearly. Miracle 2: We had some very awesome, very spirit filled days. We were able to see changes in our investigators and we have been so excited about that. Every change, no matter how small, is a miracle. Miracle 3: So I think I may have mentioned Skeeter before. He is a boss. He really is one of my favorite people. He is such a spunky old man. He is 66 and pretty much on his last leg because of health issues. He is trying to quit smoking and if he doesn't then his doctors have told him that he wont be around much longer. He has been trying and trying and we have been praying and praying. We pretty much have explored every option with him. He tried patches, the electronic cigarette, the little program that we usually do with people and nothing was sticking. He said he prayed to have God remove the desire. We also have been having issues to get him to read. We were over there one day and have the brilliant thought of Word Searches. He pretty much does word searches all day errday! So we figured we would make him a word search. We made a fill in the blank page where he had to go to the scriptures to find the words. Then the words that he found were the ones in the word search. We gave it to him and he was hooked. He kept saying I'll have it done before you come back (we go over every day) and he also said, 'i wan't lots more of these." We went over the next day to see how he was doing and he hadn't smoked. At all. He hadn't put on the patch or used the electronic cigarette because he said he was too busy working on our puzzle we gave him. He filled out all the blanks which meant he had been reading the scriptures! We were so excited about it! We have been making these word searches for a few days now and we are so excited to give him more because it seems to be effective! We are so happy and thankful that God works in mysterious ways! We have loved seeing the change in Skeeter as he feels the spirit more and more each day. He is so amazing and I am so looking forward to him getting baptized this month! I love you all!
